About The MFSA
The Muslim Football Supporters Association (MFSA) is a non-political, diverse, non-partisan organisation that supports and represents Muslim football fans, grass-roots community groups, clubs and supporters’ groups through a national platform that strengthens collective advocacy, increases visibility and celebrates the positive contributions of Muslims to the game.
The MFSA works alongside The Football Supporters’ Association (FSA), Kick It Out, the Muslim Sports Foundation (MSF), a number of football clubs and football supporters' groups. We also aim to work alongside wider representative bodies, including the FA, to ensure Muslim supporters are meaningfully represented within supporter structures and that the diversity of football fanbases across the UK is accurately reflected.
The MFSA was founded following a need for greater national coordination and unity among Muslim football fans, particularly in standing up to discrimination. The MFSA was established to enable Muslim fans across the UK to easily identify and connect with their club’s Muslim supporters group, support fans with accessibility to games, advise Premier League football clubs and organisations, and provide guidance for the creation of new supporters' groups by grass-roots fans.
For many within the Muslim community, concerns about matchday environments and the potential for discrimination have acted as barriers to participation. The MFSA exists to address these challenges and to provide a unified and credible voice for Muslim supporters within the game.

What we stand for
Breaking Barriers
We challenge discrimination in football, creating spaces where everyone feels welcome, no matter their background.
Islamophobia, racism and exclusion have no place in the game, and the MFSA actively works to call it out, whether that's abuse in the stands, barriers to matchday facilities or the everyday experience of feeling like an outsider at your own club. We work with supporters, clubs and governing bodies to push for meaningful change and ensure Muslim fans are treated with the same respect as any other supporter.
Support Networks
The MFSA is building a national network that connects fans.
Football is better when everyone can be part of it. The MFSA exists to make sure Muslim supporters, whether they are lone fans or part of an established group, have the network, resources, and support they need to engage with the game safely and fairly. We help fans connect, supporter groups grow, and communities thrive, so that Muslim supporters at every level feel they belong.

Unity & Inclusion
Bringing Muslim and non-Muslim fans together safely and celebrating belonging in football stands by advocating for greater involvement in football.
The MFSA champions the voices of Muslim supporters within football's wider structures, ensuring they have a seat at the table when decisions are made. From stadium accessibility to scheduling during Ramadan, we advocate for the practical changes that make football genuinely welcoming for everyone.
Our Four Pillars: What We Do
We exist to make football a better place for Muslims. As fans, players, employees and as part of the wider football community.
Tackling Anti-Muslim Hate

Anti-Muslim hate in football is a real problem and one that does not get enough attention. The MFSA is here to change that. We work with clubs, governing bodies and community groups to call it out, challenge it and make sure Muslim fans, players and staff feel safe and respected at every level of the game.

Participation in Football
Football Supporter Groups
Muslims love football. But too often, barriers exist that stop people from playing, attending games or simply feeling like the sport isn't for them. The MFSA wants to change that by actively encouraging more Muslims to get involved. Whether that is pulling on a shirt, getting down to the terraces or getting onto the pitch.
Muslim supporter groups up and down the country are doing brilliant work within their clubs and communities. The MFSA wants to support that work, help those groups grow and give them a platform to be heard. No group should have to figure it all out on their own. A more inclusive game is better for everyone, and we are helping to build it.

Advising Clubs & Organisations
Advising Premier League clubs, the FA, and national governing bodies on practical and structural improvements to Muslim inclusion in football. Areas of focus include staffing and HR, faith awareness training, halal catering provision, dedicated matchday prayer facilities, institutional awareness of Ramadan and key Islamic festivals and more.
